The "Paralyzed Bride" Did a Lingerie Photo Shoot to Prove Disabilities Don't Limit Sexuality

Rachelle Friedman Chapman is out to show #WhatMakesMeSexy
In May 2010, Rachelle Friedman Chapman became paralyzed from the neck down after a friend playfully pushed her into a pool at her bachelorette party. She and her then-fiancé, Chris, got married a year later, and gave birth to a daughter through a surrogate pregnancy in April 2015.

Now, the motivational speaker and author of The Promise: A Tragic Accident, a Paralyzed Bride, and the Power of Love, Loyalty and Friendship, is setting out to shatter the stereotype that having disabilities curbs one's sexuality through a powerful photo shoot.
"I had struggled with body image issues after the accident especially after I was forced to use a catheter," Chapman told Cosmopolitan.com. "I decided to take that back by posing in a photo shoot showing people with disabilities have sexuality and are, at the end of the day, just like everyone else."
